My very first, pure Pin fv :D I _love_ the dance part in YamaP's new solo PV "Loveless" and after seeing "BANDAGE" by LANDS (Jin), I immediately knew I wanted to make something out of them. So, after trial and error I got this little vid out. It revolves around Pi's dance and because I was a little short on material, I ended up leaving the vid... well, short :') Also, I like the texts on the vid. They give the vid a touch of a real music video.

Yupyup.

Aaa-ah, some of my icons look so old :') And, if you've been keeping an eye on my journal, you can see the times when I've made certain icons. For example, here's a row of blue-ish icons -everyone remembers when I had that stage going on XD

I'm kinda sad that I ended up repeating certain styles and fonts and whatnot. Leslie's icons have so much variety! I really love how some of them are so bright and clear and simple and ♥. My favourite one would be the one featured in the preview: the words and the light texture, the combination is very, very beautiful. Also, the JE ones of her came out very nicely~ \,,/

Thanks babe for going through with this with me! It was fun -pain in the ass every now and then yes, when certain icons just refused to come alive, lol, but definitely heaps of fun♥

Ok, and one battle has been gotten to an end! Which reminds me: there're a few more people who challenged me but we never got around to finishing those challenges. If you're still hanging around: do you want to complete the challenges or am I allowed to post whatever I've scraped up till now in one large post? :)

.SHO GOOD♥ I haven't watched the season finale yet but I dare to say that this show climbs up to my dorama top ten list :D Kousaku♥ AND UEDA!♥ Okada Yoshinori has become yummy^o^ He's amazingly versatile. I loved him in Kisarazu Cat's Eye and Nobuta Wo Produce. However, in Atashinchi no Danshi, I loathed his character. Well, I didn't like the whole drama, so no wonder ;)

notes: huffy_chan made a mind-blowing ToraxGacchi video around a year ago. Some of you might've seen it in Youtube; it's called Never to Know and it's just plain amazing. It's one of those videos that make your heart go very big before exploding^_^

So, I have no chance to surpas that. However, I've been wanting to make something with this pairing for some time now, and esp since all I've been writing has been MiyavixShou lately, I really wanted to contribute. So, hopefully here's a sensual vid that suits our sensual pairing :) Please enjoy, and comments are appreciated like WOAH♥

OH HOH HELLO MY DEAR NUMBERS 1-5 *o* I watched SLEEPWALKER today, and after choking on my own spazzing and goo, I downloaded the pv and made a few screencaps of which a few icons... evolved. There're not many of them behind the cut but I believe that this time, quality goes before quantity :)

Aaaalso, a small bunch of one of my favourite Jane Austen adaptions, Lost in Austen. It's based on Pride and Prejudice, and it stars Jemima Rooper and Hugh Bonnenville, etc. It's a humorous feel-good miniseries, give it a try if you only can. It doesn't happen everyday that a period drama has lesbian gags in it XD;

A new icon batch. Quality is what it is, but the fandoms, the fandoms are superb >D Because this is an all-star post, people! Hotties from the very beginning till the very, very end. ~~Plus some Kra 8D~~

Firstly, some D'espairsRay, since I'm still very hyped-up by their concert I attended some time ago. Then MUCC, because hey, D'espairsRay and MUCC belong together, yeah? Lastly some sexually arousing stuff in the form of Kiyoharu (♥), Kagrra dorkyness and a bit of Saga and Kra. Also, the post includes some random Moomin icons (Because I really really really wanna tattoo Snufkin under my skin~~ I haven't been able to find a perfect picture, though.) and a few random Ougon Kishi GARO icons for the amusement of the tokusatsu fans around (if there are any, that is).

.I'm a total n00b when it comes to Despa. huffy_chan pretty much dragged me to the concert -and I'm glad she did! I had a blast :) I'm kind of developing a crush on Karyu~~'s nose~~. Kamikaze, BRILLIANT and MIRROR were mindblowing live. Before I used to think their music is a little over-produced. However, onstage, it's crazy good.

.slowly, I'm getting my mojo back :D inspired by milkcho's adventure into my old icon posts, I went through some of the old stuff as well and thought, heck, there was a time when I was able to make good graphics. So. Kind of trying to return to those times ;)

.you can always tell when I've been reading fanfiction when these posts appear XDD; I myself am very fond of the first ToraGacchi and the Ruki/Uru. Also, though ShouPon isn't my cup of tea, I believe managed to pull some nice... things together. As stated before, I really don't know what these are. Hopefully you'll figure some use for my pretties~

[fan art] ToraxSaga "Written in the Stars"

Today: Fan art and how it's made! ^o^

Okay, so, this fan art post is a little different from the others. Firstly, because with this post, I'm showing step by step how I sketch and draw, and secondly, because the subject is kinda special~ I read this lovely, lovely fic by seed_inyou called "Written in the Stars" a while ago. The fic is locked, you have to be a member of aliceinloveland in order to read it, but shortly, it's a story about Saga getting shot and the last minutes he can spend with the man he loves. There were a few lines in it that I've been rolling over in my head and finally I just had to draw a little something^___- (dunno really how the writer herself will react 8) hopefully I didn't rape her visions completely *sweat*).

Okayyyy, people, who wants to see it?^o^\,,/ Here we go: fan art and how it's made.

1.

First, we need equipment, yeah? I use Faber-Castell's water resistant colour pencils. They are slightly triangular which makes them feel real nice in the hand. Usually, I don't much work with colors but for the blood involved and stuff, I wanted to soften things a bit. Thus the colour pencils. For sketching, I used Derwent's graphic pens.

Doodling, woo~hoo! I had several ideas for the postures and clothing. For reference I decided to use an überbly hawt shot of Saga from Rock and Read(?).

Then the actual drawing begins. I marked the most important shadows and started looking for the right shapes. Also, I did a teeny bit of coloring to have an overall idea of what I was going to do.

I always draw faces first because if the face doesn't work, then the whole picture is for nothing, basicly. And, I happen to like drawing faces the most :) It's enchanting to see a person appearing on a white surface. Saga, especially, has become a very dear subject for me. His features are really one of a kind, very expressive. The angle was a little difficult and at first the guy on the paper looked more like Shou than Saga. I fixed the nose and jawline a bit and got the man I wanted ^-^♥

5.

My art teacher from years ago used to emphasize how important it is to proceed steadily through a piece because, if you make one part completely and then start another, you'll notice that shoot, that shade there is too light and then you'll have to darken it, which naturally leads darkening and fixing all the other shades as well to get the balance back. So, I switched to Tora.

6.

I couldn't keep my hands from the blood 8DD I started with the fabrics. I hate fabrics, they're too much work ;_; with bnw pictures I can handle drawing them, but with colors, clothes are always a pain in the ass. One layer of color never works -you have to go through shirts and jeans multiple times, adding things as you go.

7.

Not to make it too easy, an idea of a leopard print began troubling me! Like, I had the wings and jeans and whatnot to start with, and now... a leopard print? Well, when an idea sparkles, it has to be used, I guess. I like detailed pieces. And, Saga wears a lot of prints, they really suit him. Soft colors, like purple and reds, he carries them in a cool way I like.
I was very nervous about the wings since I've drawn wings twice before, once for a bird and the other time I had a clear reference picture as a model. Now, I had nothing, I had to work it through somehow. I'm proud of how the wings turned out. They have something... Yami no Matsuei -like, somehow :D

8.

Wow, we're almost there! I'm very impatient, I couldn't really concentrate on the shirt long enough to finish it at one go. I worked a bit with the trousers, drew the diamond cross necklace, finished the wing on the right and deepened the tone of the blood. Tora's still hanging there, I found him... a little boring to work with. And, I couldn't figure out for my dear life his full posture (I guess he's sitting on his knees or something), so I kind of left it in the air. His legs should be visible but... too much brain work for a little girl like me. Like, we have Saga with wings, who really cares 8)

Leopard dots spreading! Jeans getting color! Hey, I'm actually pulling this together! Yey! (I was drinking AND watching The Perfect Storm whilst finishing this up XDD it's a small miracle I didn't mess anything up, lol. But I couldn't resist William Fitchner and Mark Wahlberg! *cough*Or summer fruit cider!*cough* A good cry was very refreshing~ Gaah, I love that movie, everyone should watch it ;_;)

AND BEHOLD, IT'S FINISHED! Tora remained a little lame till the very end I guess but I couldn't be happier with Saga -the leopard torture was worth it~ I was hesitant about Tora's jacket until I decided to go with brown. I kind of like the atmosphere in the pic, it's... Well, in the fic, Tora tried his hardest not to show his emotions to his dying lover. I loved it. I think, in my pic, Saga sees his attempts and when one tear escapes, he tries to comfort him and tell he's going to be okay. At first I was looking for a little more tragic approach, as in more physical pain and stuff, but ended up with something slightly more poetic.

Hopefully you enjoyed seeing this 'tutorial' type of presentation!^__^ Comments, critique, cookies and vodka, everything is welcomed with open arms. He doesn't much look like Saga, but the original picture that I used for preference was Saga cropped from a group shot... So, I say, Saga fan art this is XD;

Lately, the idiotic boyfriend-related stress got out through this art piece and it probably shows. Firstly, the whole time, I kept changing the picture until it looked like... oddly, how I felt. Secondly, why I started drawing this, was because his posture appealed strongly to me, especially the loosely folded arms, as if he's covering a hole after a blow. Therapy session, yes.

And if you're wondering why the picture leaves you a bit uneasy, it is because there's practically no mouth on his face :) "I'm sorry for your worry", yeah.

SO, DEDICATED TO THAT JERK BOYFRIEND OF MINE. BE HAPPY. I sure am~
